A Note about Taxes and Shipping
Sales Tax
California Sales Tax must be charged on your purchase if:
1. The purchaser's credit card has a California address, and/or
2. The item you are purchasing is being shipped to a California address.
If either of 1 or 2 above is true, you will be charged 8.25% Sales Tax because the item is being shipped to you from Santa Clara County, California. If neither 1 nor 2 above is true, then you will NOT be charged California Sales tax.
About Shipping Calculations
Unless otherwise requested, we ship using the United States Postal Service. This site uses PayPal's shipping calculator to apply flat shipping rates to all purchases. The dollar amount is based on shipping from Cupertino, CA to anywhere in the continental United States.
Shipping in the continental U.S. for all items is a flat $1.00USD each, except the Refill Packs which are $1.50USD each. For example, if you order two Starter Packs ($2), an acrylic easel ($1), a metallic envelope ($1), and one Refill Pack ($1.50), the shipping total would be $5.50USD for delivery in the continental United States.
Can we ship anywhere else? At this time, our site is not set up to ship outside of the U.S. if you want to be notified when this changes.
For orders that will ship to an address outside of the continental United States, we will invoice you for the additional shipping cost. If you would like a more accurate shipping quote prior to placing your order, feel free to email a request to orders @ affirmingspirit.com. Type "shipping quote request" in the subject line, and provide your full shipping address and the full list of items you would like to purchase. The more items, the more your shipment will weigh, and affect your total shipping cost. We will email you the total shipping cost, letting you know how much will be charged in the initial purchase and how much additional will need to be paid so you will know before you place your order.
You must pay the additional shipping charge invoice before we will ship your order. However, if we do not hear from you within 14 days of issuing your shipping invoice, we will cancel your order and refund your money. Of course, you may cancel your order at any time.
