Using Breath with Affirmations
Have you ever noticed that you are holding your breath when you are scared or nervous? Or how deeply you breathe when sleeping or deeply relaxed? Studies have shown that slow deep breathing can change your body's chemistry and help you calm down.
Try deep breathing, slowly, while reading your affirmation cards. In doing so, you will be giving your affirmations the power to do more for you. Your relaxed body will be less likely to argue with or fight the affirmations. Afterward, you'll feel relaxed and energized, as if you had just meditated. Give it a try, and be pleasantly surprised!
