Voted Top 5 Best LOA Coach 2012

LOA Leaders Coach medToday, I was notified that AffirmingSpirit was nominated and voted Top 5 Best LOA Coach for 2012 by LOAleaders.com sponsored by Good Vibe Coach Academy.

While I am honored to be included with the amazing list of Law of Attraction (LOA) teachers, coaches, and speakers, there really is only one person who is worthy of this award: Jeannette Maw, the Good Vibe Coach.

If you are a serious student of LOA, you’ve likely come across Jeannette’s powerhouse blog, GoodVibeBlog.com or had the pleasure of connecting with amazingly supportive and like-minded Deliberate Creators at GoodVibeUniversity.com. Jeannette has gathered an amazing global tribe that surpasses any I have experienced before. It’s clear that Jeannette’s energy has drawn all of us together.

It is the honest truth that I could not even have been nominated for this award, let alone made the top 5, if it hadn’t been for the incredible platform that Jeannette Maw created and nurtures!!!

If you have been wanting to learn more about Law of Attraction from people who know what they are talking about and share openly, go sign up for Good Vibe University. You’ll get more real-world ideas and learn more in a few months at GVU than you ever will from just reading books on the subject. So many of the existing members came to “check out” GVU and found it so refreshingly supportive and positive that they are still raving fans years later!

This is almost unheard of in the LOA world, let alone in membership sites where egos usually rule. When folks have been away from GVU for a little while, they inevitably return to say, “Wow, I missed this place and am so glad to be back!”

In the spirit of full disclosure: yes, I was invited to become a faculty member at GoodVibeUniversity in January 2010, and have been active ever since. While I am faculty, I am ALSO a participant who benefits from the positive energy and uplifting sharing, too. I know GoodVibeUniversity.com from both sides (faculty and participant), and having been part of other LOA communities, I know this one is a true gem that far exceeds expectations!

So, Thank You Good Vibe Coach Academy and LOALeaders.com for this award. I humbly accept this award on behalf of Jeannette Maw who is the one who TRULY deserves it!

Many blessings,

Relaxing Into Summer

Relaxing view on a hikeThis is my first post in 2 months. Not because I don’t like to post, but because I decided to wait for inspiration and ended up relaxing into summer.

How often do you let yourself reeeaaally relax?

Even though I was relaxing, I was also actively doing what inspired me. I practiced deep breathing and Quantum Entrainment several times a day, whenever inspired. I got out in nature. I took walks and said my favorite affirmations. I read books that uplifted and inspired me. I visualized and got into the feeling place of feeling great. I was listening to great recordings and watching interesting videos. I hung out at Good Vibe University and did some calls for them. It was fun and wonder-filled!

How often do you look for inspiration around you?

Here is some inspiration: I put my favorite vibelifters together for you on this page. VibeLifters are resources you can easily turn to when you could use a vibrational lift. Anytime you feel bored or vulnerable to a downward spiral, click over here and check out the resources. Feel free to listen, download, and enjoy!

When I write blog posts, I like to follow an inspiration and see where it takes me.

Relaxing and finding inspiration are two powerful ways to increase your vibration which then attracts more higher vibration experiences into your life. In fact, when you combine the two (relaxing and inspiration), you open the door to some serious magic!

When I wrote about creative cycles, I mentioned the importance of rest/renewal gestation periods. If you are always expecting yourself to be ON, then chances are…you are burning yourself out. Give yourself regular rest, and fill your world with inspiration. You’ll actually be much more effective when you do work after resting.

So, come on…take a break and let me know how it worked for you!

How Do We Know?

Over at the lively and upbeat Good Vibe University forums, we have lots of amazing conversations on just about every subject. It really is an amazing group of deliberate creators who come together to take thought beyond which it has been taken before WHILE having a lot of fun!

Recently, one of the members asked a devil’s advocate question about Law of Attraction: How do we know that it (LOA) is working all the time? What if we are wrong?

There were many responses, all pointing out how LOA is like gravity so it’s always working AND if we don’t believe it’s working, then it won’t work for us.

The questioner didn’t like the answers and kept pushing to ask us to consider that we may be wrong.

Personally, I’m not interested in a conversation on that topic, so I might not have responded. However, I did feel there was a greater message to share. Here’s what I wrote in response:

At the beginning 10 years of my journey, I didn’t know…I thought it would be cool, but I didn’t know for sure, and looking back, I didn’t always expect it to work, either. Rolling Eyes

Then, I started having personal experiences where there was NO OTHER explanation. Shocked Very Happy Shocked

And then another. And another…until, it just became OBVIOUS to me. I now trust it. Some experiences show up in minutes, others take years. When the long-desired experience finally shows up, THEN I can *see* why it took all that time and how it was ALWAYS working perfectly for me. I can see my role in holding it back, and opening up to receive. But, that knowledge comes as hindsight. Rolling Eyes

Shocked Such knowing only comes as foresight when I consciously decide it will be so. Shocked

What I’ve written is a moot point for you, though, as this is *my* answer. My answer includes the feeling of KNOWING in my body that no one else can feel, so it will never truly be enough for anyone else. It might be momentarily inspiring to those reading, but until you’ve experienced it yourself, feel that knowing to your core, and come to trust it, other people’s accounts likely won’t sustain your faith/belief.

It’s like Abe says we can’t expect someone else to keep us as the center of their positive attention all the time. We also can’t expect another person’s positive experiences to sustain OUR belief in such possibilities.

Everyone is responsible for asking their own questions and finding their own answers.

If you want to get deep: None of us can really fully answer your questions for you.

Perhaps the more helpful question to ask is:
Which world would you rather live in…the one where you can always rely on LOA, or one where LOA works randomly?

Wink Wink Wink

Many blessings,
Nancy

After posting that, I began to wonder how many of you have wondered the same thing. Do you know that Law of Attraction is working all the time? If so, share how you learned…if not, what is the source of your doubt? (For those who don’t know (yet), notice the stories those who DO know are telling…how can you shift yours?)

A Vibrational Adjustment: Intentional Resting

6840327_m_IntentionalResting_cat500wWhen I first began working, I remember hearing co-workers talk about getting off work and going to the local pub for some “attitude adjustment”. For some, imbibing migh be the only way they allow themselves to relax but there are healthier ways to experience adjustment. What if you could easily experience a vibrational adustment in just a matter of minutes, any time of the day, no matter where you are?
This is exactly what Intentional Resting http://www.intentionalresting.com/ can do for you. Colleague and Master LOA Coach, Jeannette Maw, introduced all of us at Good Vibe University to Intentional Resting with Dan Howard. The concept seems deceptively simple—until you try it for yourself! Otherwise, you might find it hard to believe that taking a moment to sit with an experience and rest into it has any effect at all.
But it does.
A very powerful one, at that!
Dan Howard explains how the oldest part of our brain is wired to respond to the bears and tigers, and in today’s world most of the threat comes in the form of imagined bears and emotional tigers. Our body doesn’t know the difference, so the adrenaline is constantly flowing, tiring us physically and emotionally.
Here’s a video of Dan explaining the Intentional Resting process. Watch this and consider how you can put this to use in your own life.

No matter what happens, I know the Earth is already in balance and All is Well. The Earth was created in well-being and it continues to be so, and I support it vibrationallly.

intentional resting kitty

When I first began working almost 30 years ago, I remember hearing co-workers talk about getting off work and going to the local pub for some “attitude adjustment”. Of course, they meant having a few drinks. For some, imbibing might be the only way they allow themselves to relax but there are other ways to experience a mental, physical and vibrational adjustment.

What if you could easily experience a vibrational adjustment in just a matter of minutes, any time of the day, any where?

This is exactly what Intentional Resting can do for you. Colleague and Master LOA Coach, Jeannette Maw, introduced all of us at Good Vibe University to Intentional Resting with Dan Howard. (I’ve mentioned before that GVU is the best LOA party on the planet, and I’m not joking!) The concept of Intentional Resting seems deceptively simple until you try it for yourself! Otherwise, you might find it hard to believe that taking a moment to sit with an experience and rest into it has any effect at all.

But it does.

A very powerful one, at that! In fact, when I was listening to the *recording* Dan had done with Jeannette for Good Vibe University, I was literally feeling spine tingles and other physical sensations that confirmed the process was working for me. I left that recorded call feeling I had experienced a positive vibrational “adjustment”.

Dan Howard explains how the oldest part of our brain is wired to respond to the bears and tigers, and in today’s world most of the threat comes in the form of imagined bears and emotional tigers. Trouble is, our body doesn’t know the difference, so the adrenaline is constantly flowing, tiring us physically and emotionally. Without a way to regularly calm the bodymind, the cumulative tension and energy gets stuck in our body creating aches, pains, or worse: dis-ease.

Here’s a video of Dan explaining the Intentional Resting process. Watch this and consider how you can put this to use in your own life.

And, if you have been feeling helpless and upset about the Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico, you might enjoy listening to this Intentional Resting call for the Earth.

For me, no matter what happens, I know the Earth is already in balance and All is Well. Feeding experiences with fear, lack, worry, or negative energy does not support the experience shifting toward the positive. The Earth was created in well-being and it continues to be, and so I make a conscious decision to support it vibrationally with positive energy. Intentional Resting for the Earth is a great way to release your own anxieties and shift toward feeling you are helping, rather than contributing to the problem.

Taking Score Too Soon and Too Often

Last Friday, I was on the Good Vibe University WaterCooler call ~ that’s their weekly open call about random Law of Attraction (LOA) topics that changes every week. Jeannette Maw, the Good Vibe Coach and founder of GVU was talking about a manifesting technique that clearly worked for others, but didn’t work for her when she tried it. Immediately, I got an image that is familiar with other clients I have helped: I made a comment that when we are taking a specific action only for the result we are seeking, and we might be flowing the impatient vibe of “come on, come on…where is it? where is it? where is it?” And like a watched pot, it never seems to boil.
Jeannette heard me and wrote this entertaining blog post about the Watched Pot Syndrome.
I’ve actually seen this behavior with a lot of clients, those who are new to LOA and experienced teachers. Many fall victim to taking score too soon and too often, that keep them in a suspended state of NOT seeing what they are looking for.
Louise Hay equates this to planting a seed, watering it, nurturing and then digging it up every few hours to see how it’s doing. We all know from experience that it’s best to plant and nurture the seed, and THEN let nature take it’s course. Otherwise, you’ll kill the seed and it will never have a chance to blossom.
The hardest part may not be the seeding and nurturing of your dreams, but taking your attention OFF of them long enough to enjoy the rest of your life! This is why I recommended having a prepared “Joy List” you can go to any time you desire. I also recommend having lists of activities you know you enjoy so you have many options to choose from. Distracting yourself with activities and experiences that feel good will not only help the time pass quickly, but it will also help you to stop taking score too soon or too often, and stop watching the pot impatiently.

Have you ever done this: You got clear about what you really wanted, focused on it with positive energy, and then waited and watched intently for signs of your desire manifesting?

Did you find yourself keeping track of all you are doing, constantly taking score and waiting, waiting, waiting… and feeling incredibly frustrated by the process?

Last Friday, I was on the Good Vibe University WaterCooler call ~ a weekly open call for GVU members about random Law of Attraction (LOA) topics  of interest. I’ve actually seen this behavior with a lot of clients, those who are new to LOA as well as experienced LOA teachers. We all know from experience that it’s best to plant and nurture the seed, and THEN let nature take it’s course. Otherwise, you’ll kill the seed and it will never have a chance to blossom. We give it the energy it needs and the time for the process to unfold.
