Take the Bounce: A Reason to Appreciate Contrast!

Anyone who follows the teachings of Abraham know that they are very creative in explaining concepts of Deliberate Creation, developing new phrases to help illustrate their points. This past week, those of us who receive Abraham-Hicks’ twice-a-month MP3 files were treated to a new phrase: Take the Bounce.

Abraham used this phrase in answering a question about dealing with contrast (Ashville, NC 11-1-09 workshop), those unwanted experiences that are so different from what we believe we really want to experience.

Creating Your Own Economy

If you’re breathing, it’s pretty hard to miss it: Everybody and their brother is talking about the economy. Most are labeling it everything from down to a recession, and some consider it the beginning of a depression.

Here’s the thing: Everything is energy, including our economy. In our attraction-based Universe, what we focus upon, we attract energetically. What we focus upon with emotion, we attract even faster energetically.

You’ve probably heard the saying, “When the student is ready, the teacher appears.” I personally know the truth of this statement.

I’ve been seeking spiritual understanding and applying self-growth techniques since the late 1970s. While spiritual subjects have captivated me most of my life, deep down I am also a *very practical person*. I like tips and tools I can apply immediately. I appreciate seeing results from my efforts. Needless to say, I’ve tried a lot of “spiritual” techniques that were better in theory than in practice.
