RamPAGE OF APPRECIATION for:

The San Francisco Bay Area
I feel so blessed to live here. The weather is incredibly beautiful, and I don’t even mind the few days/weeks a year when the weather is stormy. In the spring, the coastal and inland mountains are lush emerald green. In the summer they turn to the famous California Gold. There are so many wonderful hiking preserves, each one more breathtaking (in views and exercise) than the next.

Case in point —>http://twitpic.com/1zuni  This is a photo taken from a local hiking trail, just off the parking lot. Many breathtaking views, and it’s located in the hills above Palo Alto, CA, just 30 min from where I live. The day I took this photo, my son & I came across a coyote on the trail. We startled him…he watched us for a moment, then ran off. We were in awe and enamored by all the beauty. The sunny trail also had many nice shaded spots, like this one.  Is it any wonder I like to hike  and be out in nature *as much as humanly possible*? :o )
