Making Peace—Where You Are

making peaceWith the International Day of Peace (September 21st) just around the corner, I was reminded that global peace is the out-picturing of the Inner Peace that starts from within. Transforming difficulties into peaceful learning experiences starts with making peace with where you are, right now.

Making Peace with Contrast

When we are in the middle of intense contrast, in the throes of often crippling fear, anxiety, worry, and doubt, peace is not easy to feel. However, if we don’t want to stay in this place, we must shift our energy, and the easiest way I know to do that is to make peace with where we are, right in that state of contrast.

Law of Attraction dictates that our dominant vibration will draw to us similar-vibration thoughts, feelings, and experiences. So, staying in debilitating fear and anxiety of intense contrast means we’re attracting to us vibrational-equivalents. At some point, the idea of making peace will feel much easier than staying in the contrast.

Bees in the Attic

Personal case in point: In mid-2006, after going into shock from a bee sting, I had been informed that I was now officially allergic to bees. So, imagine how I felt when, during a slow time for my design business, a huge active beehive was discovered in the attic above the master bedroom of my townhome!

Business had been slow, and my finances were tight. My first fear was how to pay to remove the beehive. In a state of fear and panic over the situation, I had forgotten that a bee sting could be deadly!

Every time I thought about the beehive, how it needed to be removed quickly, and that I didn’t know how I would pay for it, I became even more fearful and panicked. My thoughts kept spiraling, and my energy was sinking with them. At some point, in my haze of spiral thinking, I remembered Abraham‘s suggestion to ‘count your blessings’.

Count my blessings?!? ::shock:: How was I supposed to do THAT in the face of THIS?!? I wasn’t sure, but I made myself sit down, right then, and write out a list. The first one was hard to think of, but when I remembered that I hadn’t been stung inside my home by the bees from my own hive, I put it first on the list.

Once I made a list of the blessings, and there turned out to be many, I was suddenly feeling much better about the whole situation! Whenever the fear thoughts would arise, I would turn back to my list of blessings and find myself smiling that I ever thought this situation was a ‘problem’.

As I focused on the list of blessings, something interesting happened. Not only did I feel better, but a short while after making the list, the inspection company that had found the hive called me to say the neighbors would be sharing the expense of removal! Turns out, they were the source of the hive. To me, knowing that the bill would be less than expected was a blessing.

Then, out of the blue, a client I hadn’t spoken to in a long time called me for a large project that would not only cover the cost of the bee removal but provide income for many months ahead. I was amazed and delighted!

By shifting my focus from the ‘problem’ to the ‘blessings’, the entire situation literally transformed into a blessing!

Making peace with where you are will help you release the resistance to the contrast, and see the situation from a better-feeling perspective.

Making Peace Worksheet

I realize that by the time I learned to look for blessings in the middle of contrast, I had been studying metaphysics for many years. You might not find it so easy to shift your energy on your ‘what is’ (contrast).

To help you, I’ve created a downloadable PDF worksheetmaking peace worksheet, to print and fill out. This worksheet may initially seem hard. Sitting down to do it is the hardest part. Once you experience the value of the process, however, I hope you find that transforming your ‘what is’ contrast is more enjoyable than you expected!

If you are currently in fear, anxiety, worry, and doubt over a high-contrast situation, I invite you to download and use this worksheet to shift your energy into a better vibration. Feel free to share this post with other friends who could benefit, too!

If you found this worksheet helpful, please leave a comment below to share your experience, too!

Charmed Business

charmedBusiness books and business schools teach, what they consider to be, practice how-to’s as if that is all a business owner needs to be successful. They completely leave out the discussion about energy except a perfunctory: Stay positive.

Which is practically meaningless unless we have been managing our vibration on a regular basis! Because the energy of our thoughts cascades down to our words, actions, and how others feel around us.

It’s easy to be positive when everything is going well in our business. If we only remember to manage our vibration when we are mired in difficulty, then it’s a lot harder than if we’ve been doing it all along.

Charmed

Recently, I was reminded of this quote by Abraham about living a charmed life:

You would walk around, and you would be saying, whether you say it out loud or you say it to yourself, “I am a wonderful Being. There is nothing that I cannot achieve. The world addresses itself to me always in positive ways. Everything always works out magnificently for me. I live a charmed life. Things are supposed to (and always do) go well for me. Seas part for me. I have the resources of the Universe at my disposal. I live in an environment where I am inspired to a new thought. And as soon as I give birth to it, things align in order to bring me the actualization or the manifestation of it. I am an extension of Source Energy. I am God in a physical body and I am good. And because I am good, good things come to me.
—Abraham-Hicks, Washington, D.C., 10/15/05

Reading it again got me thinking about running a charmed business – one in which all the resources arrive as needed, as if magically called. Engaging the Universal forces to assist you in everything from creating your products and services, developing your marketing and sales processes, attracting ideal clients/customers, and getting the word out about your business.

Think this is far-fetched?

In her book, Hiring the Heavens, author Jean Slatter called on non-physical forces for assistance with writing the book, editing it, and finding the ideal publisher. Slatter specifically asked her dream angelic support team to identify the best publisher for her. Soon, she received guidance to check out New World Library in California. As soon as she did, she knew this was going to be her publisher.

Contrary to what most writing experts would suggest, Slatter sent the manuscript directly to New World Library and they accepted her manuscript and published the book, despite having a policy of only working with agents. They FELT her energy and responded to it!

Our business is an energy stream that is continually responding to how we feel, think and talk about it (to others and ourselves). It is mirroring back to us the energy of our actions, just as our relationships, health, and money are mirrors.

If we’re feeling optimistic and excited, even if we don’t know exactly HOW to take action, we’re more likely to have an outcome that reinforces the vibration of “optimism and excited”.

Likewise if we’re feeling defeated, overwhelmed, and frustrated.

It’s up to us. We must DECIDE how we are going to feel in our business, minute-to-minute, day-to-day…and how others receive the results of our efforts.

That time that my client’s feedback contained exactly the words and phrases I was thinking while working on their project taught me this, too. Other people FEEL the energy with which we create or serve, even if they are not consciously aware of it.

As soon as I realized this, I became more conscious about my own energy while taking actions in my business. I asked for guidance to meet or exceed my client’s expectations…even expectations the client wasn’t even aware of having! I received and took action on the guidance, and clients raved!

Sure, there could be days when we have to consciously remind ourselves, or even cut ourselves some slack. But, the tumultuous waves of those difficult days are a lot easier to surf if we’ve been practicing vibration management every day.

We Are the Ones

It’s up to us to start seeing/feeling/knowing our business as charmed, magical, thriving entity with every resource available at its disposal. When vendors are needed, they reveal themselves. When additional funding or business loans are needed, we identify an ideal source. When we are ready for more clients/customers, they hear our energetic call. When we know our business is providing a needed product or service while making the world a better place, we will see that ‘reality’ mirrored back to us.

Imagine how your business would respond if this was how you thought and felt about it…
“My business is magical, and everything we do makes the world a better place! The world addresses itself to my business always in positive ways. Everything always works out magnificently for my clients, my vendors, and my business, creating fabulous and fun win-win-win experiences for all involved!

I run a charmed business! Day-to-day business details are supposed to (and always do) go well. Seas part for my business success. My magical business has the resources of the Universe at its disposal. As soon as I encounter inspired thoughts and feelings about my business, things align in order to actualize or the manifest it in my magical business. My business is inspiring, uplifting, and connecting me moment-to-moment with the inspiration and resources of Source Energy. I love my charmed business!”

What I’d love to know is…how are you choosing to see the magic in your business?

Your Body Compass

Body Compass

Have you heard the term ‘Body Compass’ and do you know how it can help you every day?

After sharing my blog post about the incredible power of decision, I received a bunch of emails and messages from people saying that they find it hard to know which decision is right for them. While many liked the idea of following what feels better, the question remained: “How do you know when every choice feels both good and bad?”

I’ve briefly mentioned the Body Compass before, but it makes sense to devote an entire post to this topic.

In our heavily plugged-in lives, constantly on the computer, or our phone, juggling virtual and real-life deadlines, dramas, and details, we’ve become increasingly disconnected from our bodies. We need a way to navigate the world than electronics can provide.

Thirty years ago, I would have made most of my difficult decisions by making a pros/cons list. Since then, I discovered the power of the Body Compass to guide me in making good decisions in even the most difficult situations.

What is the ‘Body Compass’ ?

Just as a magnetic compass can help us navigate the globe, the Body Compass uses the human body to guide decision-making and receive guidance. Our bodies are an amazing collection of energetic sensors which are always providing us with feedback. These sensors are so fine tuned, work well together, and these sensors let us know what matters to us physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Like any tool, you have to know you have it AND how to use it, to reap the benefit.

5 Steps to Tap Into Your Own Body Compass

Here are 5 steps to become receptive to and use the information from your Body Compass:

  1. BREATHE, slow down, and relax – Take 3 deep breaths. Be still. Get out into nature. Put your bare feet on the ground. Release the mental snowballs. If you must remain inside, step away from the electronics. Go get a drink of water, walk around a moment, or take a bathroom break. We think much better and can connect with our Body Compass when we are not mired in the stress. First, we have to release any stress in our system.
  2. Get into heart coherence – After your cleansing deep breaths, lower your head as if you are looking at your own heart while putting your hand on your heart. This is a quick action that puts your heart into a coherent state which then signals your organs to function in harmony with each other. (If you want to know more about Heart Coherence, visit the HeartMath Institute’s site.)
  3. Bring your question to mind – Some find it helpful to write the question on paper first, so that they can look at the question anew once they are in a more relaxed state. Don’t try to ‘think’. Just be aware of your question, and move to the next step.
  4. Notice what sensations or feelings show up in your body along with thoughts – For instance, you might feel tightness around your gut / solar plexus at the same time you have a memory flash in your mind. There’s a connection between the sensation and the thoughts/memories that arise. You might experience an emotional release, such as crying, sighing, yawning, coughing, sneezing. Let it happen, and see what awareness you have afterward.
  5. Use the information that surfaces to show you what feels best – Often one option will feel slightly better, if not much better, than the others. Sometimes one idea feels lighter in the body, than the other. Choose the best, lightest feeling option.

You might have to practice feeling your body from the inside-out.Many of us have been socialized to only feel what happens to the outside of our bodies (scrapes, cuts, bruises), not what’s going on inside, especially if it’s emotional. When you are willing to slow down and really feel your body from the inside, you’ll start to notice all kinds of sensations.

There are several ways to practice. Meditation can help you become aware of your body while it is still, and relatively relaxed.

You can also practice scanning your body as you fall asleep at night…or just as you wake up. Let your awareness scan your body from the top of your head to the soles of your feet, and back up to the crown of your head. Notice what you feel and what thoughts arise.

The other day, I used my Body Compass to see where I was creating unnecessary drama and frustration. As I looked at my To-Do list that day, suddenly 5 items seemed very urgent. Drop-what-you-are-doing-urgent. Not only that, they each had specific requirements, so they needed to be done in a specific order, which made each more complicated. I found myself being paralyzed with the feeling of urgency, and then came the indecision. No matter how I looked at these 5 items, they needed to be done and they were getting in each others way!

Fortunately, the indecision reminded me of my Body Compass. (See? Contrast has its blessings!) I got quiet, centered, and heart-coherent. I looked at each item on my list, and noticed how my body felt. In a flash, I suddenly realized that *I* was the only person claiming that three of these tasks were ‘urgent’. In that realization, it became crystal clear that a few things didn’t even need to be done…at all! Ever. Unless I wanted to do them. They were options, but I had turned them into ‘shoulds’.

I let out a big sigh. I immediately felt the stress drain away from the dilemma, and my next course of action was clear: The other two items didn’t need to happen TODAY. They could easily be done the next day. What a relief! What seemed like an urgent quagmire had quickly become easy and doable.

Once you learn to understand your Body Compass and use it regularly, you’ll find it one of the most helpful tools for growing a thriving business. It’s always with you, and it’s free. You just have to CHOOSE to remember it and use it!

Your turn…Are you ready to start putting your Body Compass to work for you? If you already do, what experiences have you had with your Body Compass? Share your insights below.

Embracing Your LOA Rituals

Embracing Your LOA Rituals

‘Tis the season when I ponder which rituals I will embrace to appreciate the old and celebrate the new.

The word ‘ritual’ has always been a loaded one for me. Being a recovering Catholic and deeply apologetic Christian, that word used to be synonymous with seriousness, control, and fear.

Let’s face it, while there are rituals that are very fear-based, that doesn’t mean all rituals must be fear-based. The good news about Law of Attraction is that you can choose, from day-to-day, year-to-year, the rituals that feel best to you.

Rituals are whatever intentions, thoughts, and/or actions that you decide to implement at certain times. We usually start them because doing so feels meaningful to us.

Meaning is what makes our rituals matter. And we are the ones who create and apply meaning to our intentions, thoughts, and actions. We get to decide what rituals we want to partake in, and what meaning we choose to give those rituals.

Some rituals are cultural (think seasonal, sports, and national pride). Some rituals are fun (trips to the beach, picnics, going to the same ice cream shop every year with friends), and some are more deep and somber, while others can be both. For instance, I love putting up lights and lighting candles during the winter holidays. Doing so feels “light” (no pun) and joyful, and yet…I’ve had some pretty deep and introspective experiences sitting quietly by the soft glow of lights and candles.

Some of us celebrate the cultural ritual of Thanksgiving by eating turkey with family and friends, while others enjoy adding gratitude lists to their yearly ritual. My son doesn’t like turkey, and it makes me very sleepy (hello, tryptophan) so when he was younger we opted instead to make Lasagna, garlic bread, and salad part of our Thanksgiving ritual. (Yes, this was my pre-Paleo days – now I’d grill grass-fed steak with some great veggies sidedishes.) While dinner was baking, we’d make our gratitude lists, and share them during our meal.

Law of Attraction experts teach many different processes that can easily be interpreted as rituals, and the more you do them the more meaningful they become. Abraham-Hicks have 22 of the most well-known LOA processes listed in their classic book, Ask and It Is Given.

We create the meaning and magic of rituals in our minds. Whatever we decide an intention, thought, and/or action will do for us, it will do first on a vibrational level then on a physical level. The more often we practice a ritual, the more meaning it will have for us.

The only right is what feels good to you and the only wrong is what feels bad or wrong to you. When a ritual stops feeling good to you, that’s the sign to choose a new ritual to embrace that feels better. Anything that feels light and opens your heart is a good one to choose.

light+openHEART_640x480At the end of the year, many people…

A. Declutter. Get rid of the old to make room for the new. Mothers might sort through their family’s clothes and donate what no longer fits. Business people often clear out old files, put new files in place. Men may clear out their garages. Women often revamp their clothes closets.

B. Make lists. Get clear on what you want to embrace and what you want to release. Express your appreciation for the past year and send thank you notes to key people. Some write out intentions for the new year. Others write out their priorities for the year ahead.

I do not recommend resolutions, though, especially if you view them as something you always fail at completing. Set yourself up for success by creating intentions to feel better about yourself and your life.

My local Unity asks us to write a letter to God asking for what we want and letting go of what no longer works, then the letters are burned (released into the energetic field). They have a separate service for selecting a white stone to represent your intentions for the new year.

C. Create new affirmations. Based on those updated lists, you can begin writing your new affirmations for the year ahead. If you need assistance in creating your affirmations, go download my free Six Steps to Powerful Affirmations eCourse and audios.

Feel free to share with friends, too, either virtually or in person. One client told me that a group of girlfriends downloaded my eCourse and made a sacred party out of creating and writing out their new affirmations together. Whether you do this in a group or by yourself, do something to make it special.

D. Create Your Own Ritual. Letting go of the old and embracing the new can come in many forms. Choose the ones that feel good to you.

Someone recently mentioned that they use the end of the year to forgive anyone they previously haven’t forgiven. I know other people who think forgiving is admitting something was wrong. Still others give thanks for what they’ve learned through trial and error.

E. Practice. Rituals grow in power as they are practiced and felt in the heart. Whatever you feel in your heart, you are broadcasting to the world. What do you want to broadcast?

The last week of the year, between Christmas and New Years, is the time when I am most quiet and introspective. I appreciate all I have learned in the year past, and establish my intentions for the coming year. I meditate daily and ask for Inner Guidance. I follow my inner nudges for visualizing and affirming. This time always feels sacred and serene to me. On New Year’s Eve, I relax with an aromatherapy bath and relax my way into the new year.

What are your favorite LOA rituals? Share with us in comments what works best for you, and have a happy new year!

You’ve Come A Long Way, Baby!

Long and winding road

How often do you give yourself credit for how far you’ve come along your spiritual path?

When I look back at where I started on this path more than 35 years ago, it is amazing to realize how much I have learned, lived, and grown. Taking stock of what I’ve learned through life experience is often awe-inspiring.

There are concepts that blew my mind in the first 10 years and seemed too far-fetched to even think about that I now not only fully embrace, but understand that science now supports those ideas.

Abraham has often said it is not words that teach but life experience. There’s no denying the phenomenon of channeling (we ALL do it!), the power of the mind and heart, or the ability to shift energy on the fly when you’ve experienced it over and over again. Those examples might be easy to imagine.

How about shifting quantum possibilities? Parallel universes and alternate realities? Past, present and multiple lives? Life between life (no such thing as death)? Those ideas might seem truly far-fetched…until life experience makes them real.

There’s a reason that the ancient Hawaiians knew they could shift energy and clear it just by speaking a few heart-felt words in sequence.

Medicineless hostpitals in China, Tibetans monks, and the shamans of Peru all understand how to instantly heal the body, even if they’ve never seen the inside of a “civilized” western medical facility. Yet, most western doctors find it hard (if not impossible) to believe the healing can happen without surgery and drugs.

There is a lot that we, in the West, are only just beginning to learn that the rest of the world not only knows is true but are regularly putting into practice. The “science” that we hold sacred has only been around the past three or four hundred years. That’s barely a blink of an eye in comparison with the age of the planet and how long humans have walked upon it.

It is interesting to me that my mind and heart has expanded what is possible, I’ve learned the science behind spiritual teachings, and through it all I have a deeper, more meaningful connection with the Divine than ever before.

If you are new to spiritual teachings, there may be some things you are learning that are hard for you to grasp. Be gentle with yourself. When you learn something new, hold it in your heart and feel if it resonates for you. If it doesn’t let it go. Even if you reject something now, it is possible that in the future your life experience and science will show you, firsthand, the full truth of the teaching.

Even if something resonates for your without a logical reason, it has something to teach you. Be open to it.

If you’ve been on this road a long time, as I have, you are probably nodding your head as you are reading this. Isn’t it wonderful that all paths lead to the same place?

Grounding / Earthing for Master Manifestors

Murphy enjoying his earthing mat — FloppyCats.com

Have you heard of Grounding or Earthing?

Feeling healthy and full of well-being is important for everyone, but particularly anyone who has chosen to be a conscious creator. Although doable, it is a lot more challenging to pivot toward better feeling thoughts and focus on what feels better when you are chronically tired or don’t feel physically well.

For my birthday, I got an Earthing Starter Kit. I’ve been enjoying the benefits so much, it felt important to share it here.

Links to author's siteWhat is Grounding/Earthing? The two terms are often used interchangeably, but Grounding refers to what’s happening, and Earthing refers to how. Earthing is grounding and reconnecting the human body back to the Earth. You can do this by walking bare foot on ground (wet grass improves connectivity), beach sand, or damp/moist concrete (in direct contact with the Earth) for at least 10+ min. every day.

When the weather is inclement or too cold, there are kits that help you ground indoors, where we are surrounded by electrical noise from computers, major appliances, and the electrical wiring in the walls. You can ground through a rod pushed into the Earth that is connected to a cable that comes into the house…or you can ground through the home’s grounded electrical system.

In addition to better sleep and greater feeling of well-being, there are many documented experiences of rapid healing, it naturally thins the blood, and offers a dramatic reduction in inflammation which facilitates healing. (Yes, there are Earthing mats for pets, too!) Earthing.net has more information.

Most of us will recognize that Native and Indigenous Cultures around the globe have always understood the power of and importance of connecting to the energy of the planet.

It’s really only those of us who have lost our connection to the Earth, which we had as kids running barefoot through the grass or sand or swimming in concrete pool, who really need to reconnect.

I had heard about Earthing via social media in late spring 2010 (I may have also read some discussions about it at the awesome Law of Attraction Membership Site, Good Vibe University), and began visiting my local parks to have my bare feet on the earth. Unfortunately, a lot of the parks are using some kind of chemical fertilizer on the grass that was not ideal for my skin. Plus, we rarely have a deep freeze (like we did last year) so the fleas usually live year round in the grass. I’d come home from the park covered with flea bites and rashes…and after that summer decided not to bother with Earthing. Rolling Eyes

Then, in 2012, a friend (one of my former bosses from when I worked at Adobe Systems) was raving to me about Earthing. She had used *indoor Earthing kits* during her cancer recovery…never got sick from Chemo…and she recovered so quickly it astounded her oncologist. It was her alternative health doctor who recommended this resource. Later, when her husband had hip replacement surgery the kits helped him also recover much faster. She also raves how much better they both sleep now.

The kit comes with a half sheet I put on my bed and a pad to use while on the computer, all the cables, testers, book, and a DVD of the movie Grounded. I went from not being grounded to being grounded a large portion of the day (at the computer or while in bed, sleeping). The moment I plugged everything in and grounded myself, my kitty Louise ran over to *join in*. She made sure every paw was touching my body, so she could also be grounded. Animals know!

Four nights before the starter kit arrived, I had started going to bed at 9pm at night. Initially, I didn’t think I’d be able to sleep that earlier, but was surprised to discover I easily fell asleep and slept 9 full hours each night.

So, the first night I had the grounding/Earthing kit, I again went to sleep at 9pm and set my alarm to wake me in 9 hours. This time, when the alarm went off, I was still so sleepy, I barely remember shutting off the alarm and going back into a deep sleep. When I woke up, I realized three things…

Shocked I had slept very deeply for a full 13.5 hours!!!

Shocked My body felt incredibly refreshed and that lasted longer throughout the day!!!

Shocked Every cell in my body felt like it was vibrating …humming …dancing!!!

The second night was similar. In bed by 9pm, alarm set for 9 hours…don’t remember turning off the alarm…slept 13.5 hours and woke up feeling great.

I was a little distressed about sleeping that long and wondered if this was normal, so I sent an email to my friend to ask her. She replied that it must mean my body needed a lot of extra deep sleep. Ironically, after I sent the message on the third day, the third night, I slept only 7.5 hours and woke up feeling great. The next night, I was wide awake after 6 hours of sleep. After a week, I now I feel my sleep pattern is evening out. Rolling Eyes Your experience will vary depending on your sleep patterns and overall health.

In addition, over the past week I have been feeling this infectious sense of well-being bubbling up inside of me…All is WELL…and getting weller, as Abraham has said. Laughing I have to admit, I didn’t notice it at first because the shift was very gradual. Cool

If you want to start grounding/Earthing, you can go outside with your bare feet on non-fertilized grass, concrete (doesn’t work on asphalt, though), or a sandy beach for at least 10 min every day and build up to longer periods. Apparently, it also works while *swimming in a concrete pool*! This costs nothing if you have grass, beach, concrete or a concrete pool nearby.

When the weather turns cold, I can recommend the indoor Earthing kits from Earthing.com. The elite athletes in the Tour de France use Earthing Bags (zipped cotton bags, similar to a sleeping bag) so they sleep in a *grounded cocoon*. Some people who benefited from regular Earthing kits found the Earthing Bags to be too much grounding, while others found them helpful. Seems like the athletes are the ones who do well with the Earthing Bag.

So far, I am enjoying the Earthing sheet and mat…I am not sleeping as much as I was in the beginning, and the feeling of well-being is pervasive.

The DVD included with the kit was underwhelming for me. I do believe the filmmaker (a wildlife filmmaker) had good intentions, but it was more like a collage of film clips. There are YouTube videos that do a better job of explaining and interviewing people, although the movie does show how an entire town in Alaska benefited from grounding. A number of those people were interviewed, but their responses were basically, “I used to have pain before I started Grounding. The pain is gone and Grounding is great!” No indepth explanations and a lot of the doctors are still unsure how it works, other than the heart being electrical (it’s also magnetic, but don’t get me started…).

Here’s a trailer for the updated documentary (not the one I have), entitled Grounding 2…showing, among other things, how grounding/Earthing impacts plants and humans:

If you read/listened to my Why I Am Still Alive post on my blog then you know that I’ve had two blood clots (30 and 16 years ago). The fact that the grounding also thins the blood is good news for me. However, if someone is on blood-thinning medication, they will need to be on doctor supervision while employing grounding/Earthing because too much thinning is not good.

Dr. Stephen Sinatra, an integrative cardiologist from Connecticut, said that he had been wondering for years why his patients freshly returning from Florida always needed their meds lowered. He thought it was the warmth and sunshine, but now realizes it could have a lot to do with being grounded on relaxing walks on the sandy beach.

What does this information mean for conscious creators? I know for a fact that I have had more energy, been more aware, and felt more well-being in the last week since I’ve added Grounding/Earthing, which is serving me as a Master Manifestor. My vibration is naturally higher with little physical effort on my part. Whether you ground yourself bare foot on the Earth or with indoor products, this is a tool that helps in many ways.

If you’ve tried grounding/Earthing, share your experience below!

Jeannette has gathered an amazing global tribe that surpasses any I have experienced before. It’s clear that Jeannette’s energy has drawn all of us together.

It is the honest truth that I could not even have been nominated for this award, let alone made the top 5, if it hadn’t been for the incredible platform that Jeannette Maw created and nurtures!!!

If you have been wanting to learn more about Law of Attraction from people who know what they are talking about and share openly, go sign up for Good Vibe University. You’ll get more real-world ideas and learn more in a few months at GVU than you ever will from just reading books on the subject. So many of the existing members came to “check out” GVU and found it so refreshingly supportive and positive that they are still raving fans years later!

This is almost unheard of in the LOA world, let alone in membership sites where egos usually rule. When folks have been away from GVU for a little while, they inevitably return to say, “Wow, I missed this place and am so glad to be back!”

In the spirit of full disclosure: yes, I was invited to become a faculty member at GoodVibeUniversity in January 2010, and have been active ever since. While I am faculty, I am ALSO a participant who benefits from the positive energy and uplifting sharing, too. I know GoodVibeUniversity.com from both sides (faculty and participant), and having been part of other LOA communities, I know this one is a true gem that far exceeds expectations!

So, Thank You Good Vibe Coach Academy and LOALeaders.com for this award. I humbly accept this award on behalf of Jeannette Maw who is the one who TRULY deserves it!

Many blessings,

4 Easy Ways to Connect with AffirmingSpirit

First, I want to say how much I truly appreciate all of you who subscribed to the AffirmingSpirit Updates newslettter mailing list. Thank you for each and every email that you have read, and for all the positive comments sent to me over the years. Those positive comments have meant the world to me and keep me doing this work!

A few changes
Secondly, I want you to know about some important changes.

I find the mailing list only promotes one-way conversations and I only thrive on two-way conversations. So, after a great deal of heart-felt thought, I have made the decision to close down the AffirmingSpirit Updates newsletter mailing list. If you signed up for this list, the last email will be sent April 5, 2013 to notify you of this change.

The Really Good News is…
F.r.e.e Six Steps to Powerful Affirmations eCourse is now an instant download with no sign up required!

I created this f.r.e.e eCourse to help people learn how to create really powerful personal affirmations. If you haven’t noticed, instead of sending 6 consecutive daily emails that walk you through the process of creating your own affirmations, I’ve converted the eCourse to an instant PDF download that does not require an email signup.

Call me crazy, but I am giving it away for free so more people can download and enjoy the benefits. Just click on the “Discover Six Steps to Powerful Affirmations” button to go to the download page. While you are on that page, you can also download two free audio files to further support you in your journey. Share this eCourse page link with any of your friends who would appreciate the free eCourse and audios.

If you want to stay in touch with me or be part of deeper discussions and two-way conversations, here are 4 easy ways you can do that…
