As always what you share resonates with me at every fiber of my being. You hit the nail on the head with this one!

You said in the post “Do what you need to do to get to a positive, loving, healing place on this subject so your actions will have a positive impact.” … YES!

As I mentioned to you the other day, I choose not to watch the TV when they are talking about Haiti (because all of it talks about and shows the devastation and the pain). Matter of fact, last night I went into the living room and my partner was watching CNN with Anderson Cooper and they were showing images that were just horrifying — I got up and left the room and then re-shifted my thoughts & feelings to a more positive place (getting that image out of my head). I honestly don’t know how people could put any of this in their vibrational bubble and be able to feel good. Energy is energy.

Matter of fact, I challenge whether it is necessary for the media to show all the vivid negative images — really? Do they have to?

I one time had a family member indicate to me that I was not grounded in “reality” if I wasn’t willing to look at these types of things. Like Abraham-Hicks states: “Never face reality unless your reality is just the way you want it to be!”

That’s what I choose to embrace because it is all about feeling good AND we do not serve others (individuals or entire countries) by holding a place of negativity, worry and that “doom & gloom” mentality.

What springs to mind for me, re: the meditation you experienced, is what that famous bloke from the Bible said:
“Forgive them, for they know not what they do” – and remember that this was said, not to patronise or be superior (a seductive trap for many ‘in the know’), but rather with heartfelt love and understanding for the pain of ignorance. He really was being the change he wanted to see!

What I love about your post, is that it does the kindness of offering an alternative, more helpful and very practical way to participate in the healing and love-giving that wants to be offered!

Your love and passion shine through here Nancy, and inspires and calls us to hold the highest vision – so Yay you, and Yay to the inevitable impact this has on the energetic ‘smooth transition’ in this growth for Haiti and her people! :0)

Now, if you want to ‘get in the vortex’ before sending super-vibes to those you’d like to help – how about some NPA? For example, you mentioned ‘Heart-felt Love’ – and that’s a great cookie cutter to run through the NPA process, and will certainly get you right in the vortex!

So, thanks again Nancy, for being YOU! – An inspiration , and force for tremendous, conscious, positive change on the planet!

I agree with what you have to say. We want to focus on what we want to see for people instead of focusing on what we don’t want to see. I like your visualization of the people in Haiti being better off than before the earthquake. I especially like where you focus on the feeling of positive energy going to everyone in Haiti & then feeling them benefiting immediately. This is what we need to do with our visualizations and prayers.

For your readers, you may want to stay away from watching all the news that repeats all of the worst things about the earthquake (or whatever the disaster is). If you can’t avoid it, and you find yourself getting bummed out about it, if you know how to tap (EFT or Tap n Bitch)–just tap on what it is that you are feeling. You don’t have to get fancy, just make a commentary about your feelings, say a mouthful while tapping on a meridian, then say some more on the next point. This also resonates with something I was thinking about the other day that I would like to share.

A relationship I have with a friend has not been what it could have been and it took my getting upset and breaking the friendship for a day. I got no peace from doing that until I felt the need to forgive both of us and later on we fixed the friendship and it is better for it.

While that is a little off topic here I would like to point out if we are holding negative feelings or attitude towards someone it truly does have a negative effect that person. So we seek to see that Haiti is healed, then we need to hold positive feelings towards them and think of what wonderful greatness will come from this.

While the earthquake that struck there hurt many, I strongly believe that more good will come from it. Moreover I believe good always comes after the passing of any storm.
